Principal's Message

Welcome to Liberty Drive Elementary:  

My name is Ronnie Hewitt, and I am the principal to the wonderful students, staff and community of Liberty Drive Elementary.  This is my fifteenth year in education and serving in Thomasville City Schools.  For four years, I served as Assistant Principal to both Thomasville Primary and Liberty Drive Elementary.  Prior to serving as an administrator, I was a Math and Social Studies teacher and a coach at Thomasville Middle School. 

Our staff here at Liberty Drive works hard each and every day to ensure that your child is given the best educational experience. We serve all the 4th and 5th grade students within Thomasville City Schools.  Our goal is through Excellence and a commitment to our students and families, Liberty Drive Elementary School will build Unity through communication, teach with an understanding of Equity and Diversity, and develop Pride in students as members of the community.
